It's a bit late to wish you a Happy New Year but it's the first chance I've had to sit down at this computer since, oh, mid December. I've been out of town much more than normal the last month and it's wonderful to be back home!
I have a few ideas for projects I'd like to do this year -- that New Year's Resolution thing, you know. One of them...don't faint now...is to weed through my entire house and make some much-needed room. There's not a closet or empty space that's not bursting at the seams. Coming through security in the Milwaukee airport, I was putting my shoes back on when I glanced up at the sign. I was in the Recombobulation area:) That pretty much sums up my house right now. Everything's discombobulated and it needs some attention! Unfortunately, that's going to cut into my stamping time...or maybe it'll just make me so organized I'll have more time for fun:) I can only hope.
And, as if I don't have enough diversions for my time, I'm signing up for a quilting class this spring. I received a new sewing machine for Christmas and I'm determined to put it to good use.
True to form, I decided to leave all my good intentions behind this morning and just go up and stamp! No need rushing into things, right?
This card was made up from scraps that were sitting on my paper cutter and the Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set. And....drumroll, please. I'm Sending This Card out to a friend -- another project on the list of things I want to do more of in 2009. I've made zillions of cards in the last five years and I swear they multiply in the big box I keep them in. But when all's said and done, I rarely send cards out even to my family and friends. What's wrong with that picture?
With that, I'm going to get this card in the mail and I'm going down in the basement to start pulling things out that need to make it out for the trash man on Tuesday! See you soon.
