I scheduled a class for this afternoon and the girls wanted to do gift card holders. Yesterday I posted a card Carolyn Shelby had done with Christmas Classics. I used her idea but changed the stamp sets a bit.
These three samples are made from Jolliest Time of the Year and the greeting from Season of Joy.
The first card, the snowman, uses Pacific Point and Riding Hood Red papers and inks.with just a small piece of coordinating grosgrain.
I decided not to put the piece of ribbon all the way around, tying the card shut. Instead, I'm going to slip them in a 5X3-1/2" envelope. This way they can be mailed. They're bulky enough w/out adding a ribbon with a knot or bow.
The second card uses the Christmas tree, Elegant Eggplant and Handsome Hunter inks and paper.
The third card uses the Santa Claus, Baja Breeze and Real Red inks and paper.
As a finishing touch, I glittered all the images.
I like the way the layouts are all the same. Wouldn't they be a nice set to put in an acrylic box, adding a tag and some ribbon?
